Have you been thinking about using article submission with your business, but are not sure of the benefits this will provide for you? There are many ways that online article submission will help all businesses.
Once you know what these ways are, you will see why it is so imperative that all business owners use it. Here are the most essential ways that article submission can help your business.
1. Builds traffic to your business - One of the most effective ways you can use to build traffic to your business is with article marketing. When you write articles and submit them to articles directories, over time this can build a lot of traffic for you.
Submitting articles on a regular basis is the best way to build up traffic and keep it coming to your site.
2. Provides a lot of exposure for your business - Every business needs exposure in order to find customers. Articles will easily allow you to get a lot of exposure from just one article.
You can submit one article to hundreds of online article directories. It can also be submitted to forums, blogs and social networking sites. This means that from just one article, you will get a ton of exposure.
So, the more articles you write and submit, the more exposure you will be able to achieve.
3. Viral marketing and even more exposure - Articles have a way of being spread to other sites online that you have not submitted to. This happens when other site owners like the article and decide to use it on their own site.
This leads to viral marketing for your articles and can get one article spread to a lot of different places. If your articles are good quality, then they will eventually get chosen to be used by another business owner.
4. Increase your profits - Everyone wants to make more money, but to do that you have to have traffic to your business. With articles you can easily achieve that.
You can be sure that increasing your profits will be easy, with more traffic to your business.
5. Builds backlinks to your site - Building backlinks to your site is important for getting free traffic from the search engines. The more articles you write and submit, the more backlinks you will build.
This will eventually be noticed by the search engines and they will start placing your site in the top spots for their free organic search results.
These are the main ways that online article submission can benefit any business. Now that you know what these ways are, you just need to make up your mind about whether you will use this method. Just remember that there are a lot of benefits for your business, so using it is just plain smart for any business owner.

A Few Tips For Autoresponders
Hi,
Good day to you once again. Are you confused and discouraged about how to get enough traffic for your website? Here are some tips for you regarding the use of Autoresponders....
The main goal of your internet marketing strategy is to generate traffic to build your lists and therefore to increase sales and profitability. It is tempting to think of putting your effort into one huge traffic generating source, but the secret is to get a steady stream of visitors to your site, a little at a time, and to retain those you attract. Build from there and add the traffic day by day, continuing to do what it takes to collect names and emails and build your lists.
You need a good autoresponder to collect your emails and other information for you and generate a response. The earliest autoresponders created bounce messages such as "your e-mail could not be delivered because..." type responses. There is the danger that automatic responses will be tagged as spam so use with care and test them as you would your marketing messages. A good autoresponder company will do this for you, and let you know if your emails are likely to be flagged. But used professionally, automatic replies can be invaluable for providing information immediately to prospective customers and then follow-up with them at preset time intervals. They are also incorporated into electronic mailing list software, to confirm subscriptions, unsubscriptions, posts, and other list activities.
For example, if you are sending out a newsletter, you can set up three autoresponders for new subscribers; the first is sent an hour after they sign up containing a thank you message and maybe a discount on your new product. The second is sent 24 hours later, telling them about a new feature on your website, perhaps a new blog or message board. Then the third can be sent 72 hours after they subscribe, where you can offer them a special deal to close a sale.
The free bonus hook is overdone on the internet these days so you will want to have a reward, product or service of real value to offer new subscribers if you are looking to grow your list. The content in your autoresponders needs to be useful with relevant information to keep your new subscriber engaged. Depending on your business, you can send catalogs and list prices, coupons for local businesses, best-seller lists, menus, event schedules - all useful information helping to build trust in you and your products or services and attracting more subscribers.
Going with a reliable autoresponder company is one of the best things you can do as an Internet marketer when building your list. The companies most often mentioned are aWeber, Get Response and E-Mail Aces, because they have good reputations and reasonable prices. Autoresponders have an interface that you will need to get familiar with. The ability to have unlimited lists and help organizing them is offered by most companies and they can certainly help you figure out how to craft your messages in the future.

Commitment - The Key To Making Money Online
Hi,
Good day to you and don't let me waste your time by going straight to the point. Without 100% commitment, you can not make a dime online. Oftentimes, people think it is very easy to make money online but that is very far from the truth.
A statement that is regularly banded around about internet marketing is that it is easy. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. Internet marketing, while not hard labour, takes a fair bit of effort and most people fail before they even get started. Yet internet marketing can be a big money spinner, and those who are committed normally succeed.
Why Commit?
If you entered internet marketing to make money online then you would have noticed that there is a lot to learn. In fact there is so much to learn that so many people suffer from information overload. There are a thousand people promoting a thousand different products all promising to make you a fortune in a short period of time.
This all sound wonderful, however, what we forget is that these people have been working at it for years. They know it all off the back of the hands and they make it look so easy. You on the other hand have no experience and you jump into five or six things at once only to find that it is harder than they said.
This is where you need commitment. You need to commit to doing what you set out to do. No matter how hard or how boring, you need to get in and be repetitive. Internet marketing is about repetition and you need to commit to it.
What to commit to?
When people first start internet marketing they try to do too much at once. So the first thing you need to commit to is doing only one area. It doesn’t matter which area you choose. You just have to study it and become good at it.
You need to commit to the chosen area and follow it through. It can take time with every process to make money online, but if you stick at it you will see results. This is how everyone else makes their money.
The last area that you need commitment is to internet marketing itself. Chances are that this is not your first attempt of making extra money, and maybe not even your first go at internet marketing. Commitment now means you will stay with internet marketing and not drop it after three weeks and move on to something else.
Only those that are fully committed to internet marketing will make money online. They commit to doing the hard and repetitive work. They commit to focusing on only one area and the commit to staying with internet marketing for the long term. Take a look at a few examples of how to be committed by clicking the link below.

4 Ways To Make Your Website Work For You
Hi,
Today is another beautiful day and we will be sharing on 4 ways to make your website work for you. I have an article to that effect right here for you. Please, read on....
The Internet has opened the door to a wide range of marketing opportunities today, allowing you to build your business and boost sales all from the comfort of your office. One of the best ways to advertise your business online is through joint venture marketing, which links you with an established business in a related industry that can send more potential customers your way.
Once you have created a few JV partnerships, it is time to make the Internet work for your business, with website tips guaranteed to broaden your customer base.
Use Search Engine Optimization
When people need a product or service, they use the search engines to find the companies that provide what they are looking for. While you can use Google tools for this purpose, the best course of action is to hire an SEO expert for this purpose. Although your JV marketing efforts will be effective in growing your customer base, a little search engine savvy can't hurt either. Your JV partner probably already knows the tricks of the trade, so you will need to get up to speed to ensure you are doing your part to attract new business.
Make Your Company Inviting
Once your customers find you, it is up to you to ensure that they stay long enough to make a purchase. When designing your website, set it up for easy, convenient navigation. Post your phone number, address and direct email link on your contact page so customers can get in touch with you easily. Offer easy to follow links that move from one page to another and add a few full-color photos to make your website - and your products - more enticing.
Provide a Physical Location
Few businesses do well when they limit to all of their business to online transactions. Even in this electronic age, customers feel more comfortable with a business that offers a brick and mortar location, as well as a website address. When you provide the contact information above, you are doing more than offering your customers information to get in touch with you. You are also showing stability in your business by providing a physical location and an actual person over a phone line with whom your customers can connect.
Know Your Customer
This advice is not strictly geared to online businesses, but it does tend to get lost in the translation when setting up a virtual business. Your company may get seen by many more customers through the Internet, but your website still needs to address the specific needs of your customers in order to get noticed. You can hire a company to perform market research for you, or you can do your own through customer surveys and other techniques that will help you learn what your customers want and why they buy certain products.
JV marketing may bring more customers to your website, but then it is up to you to entice customers to stick around and shop. Like a brick and mortar store, your website needs to build your customer's confidence and interest in your company through a high quality site that offers ample information about your business and the products and services you offer.

Internet Marketing And Online Customer Service
Hi,
You are highly welcome on board to share with me on this blog once again. We will be discussing an important issue as regards Customer Service. The way you handle your Customers is the determinant factor as to whether your Online Business will succeed or not. Here is another educative article for you....
People do not always think about customer service as part of their marketing plan but it should be. Customer service plays an integral role pre and post-sale. The more opportunities you have for someone to contact you for customer service or technical support, the greater their confidence will be in your company. The better you handle customer service inquiries the better their loyalty will be and that is a key goal for Internet marketing plans.
Online Customer Service
Online customer service is a great way to show consumers you are serious about offering them the help they need. In a nutshell there are a number of different ways you can add customer service to your site. There are some software packages that can be integrated into your site or you can have a customized option created.
You want to give people the option to chat with someone from your company without requiring them to make a call. Since many consumers search the net while at work, this makes it very convenient for them to speak to you rather than move on to another website.
What to Handle
Not all online inquiries should be handled over the net. If there is something sensitive that needs to be discussed, you may want to request the person call you or allow you to call them. This will show them that you are taking their customer service needs seriously.
Who Should Handle the Inquiries?
Though it is possible to outsource your online service you may wish to handle it in-house to ensure the highest quality. You and your staff will be best situated to answer most questions or get the answers the customer or potential customer is asking.
Make sure whoever is handling the service inquiries is professional and does not take anything personally. If they take things personally then they may offend a current or potential customer.
Online Customer Service - The Bottom Line
The bottom line about online customer service is that if it is handled properly it is a great way to increase consumer confidence and loyalty. Providing easy access to customer service and technical support can set you apart from the competition.
Consider adding online customer service options to your website and highlight it as one of the reasons why consumers should choose your company over the competition. Make sure to know that this is an important goal of Internet marketing.

Blog Marketing - Choose Passion Over Popularity
Hi,
This is another beautiful day and today we are discussing how to choose good niche markets when going into blog marketing. It is always good to choose a niche market on topics you are really passionate about. Here is an educative article for you that tells you of the advantages of choosing such niche markets.....
When electing to enter the field of blog marketing many choose to be guided by the popularity of a niche as the basis upon which to build their theme. Now short term this may seem like the right thing to do since it may be easier to generate traffic, but that is over the short term. Remember, the more popular the market the more competitive it will also be. You will be competing with some of the most popular blogs around who are more established and authoritative while also likely more informed about the niche. However if you were to instead pursue something you were more interested in and passionate about wouldn't that make your blog posting easier? Remember you will not be making money overnight so plan for the long haul!
Let's look at 3 compelling advantages you would have choosing a passion over popularity when selecting your blog theme.
Enthusiasm is Already There
As already mentioned it takes time to develop a loyal following on a blog so therefore you are going to need to be patient and persistent with your blog posting. If you choose a subject or theme you have an interest in your enthusiasm level will be high giving you the motivation you need.
People Want Useful Information
Since it is assumed that you are more informed about a 'personal' interest or passion is it not safe to assume your blog posting would be of higher quality as well? When people have a true passion or interest about something they tend to 'give it their all' in terms of effort. In this case, effort can be considered willingness and eagerness to research and learn. This of course is passed on with each posting.
Serving a 'Greater' Purpose
Instead of being 'money' motivated your efforts are driven more by a deeper purpose which will be reflected in the content you serve up to your readers. You are truly interested in what your are blogging about therefore what you offer readers will likely be more insightful and thought provoking. This in turn will serve a greater purpose for them! You are not just reporting 'rehashed' news but also supplying perspectives readers may have not thought of otherwise! This is much more engaging!
Blog marketing is a field where a strong following and loyalty must first be established before you can expect to make any money. As tempting as it may seem to select a popular market upon which to base your blog theme, you will be competing with some of the most popular blogs online. Early on it may be relatively easy to generate traffic due to the market popularity, but this will be only short term. Eventually you can expect the more popular blogs to 'crush' you due to the authority they have and the knowledge they possess. On the other hand, since making money takes time anyway, does it not make more sense to follow your passions for the 3 reason we discussed above? Your blog posting will be easier, and in time your site and popularity will grow making it easy to generate traffic as well. All this by sticking with something you are already passionate about makes me believe there is no other direction to even consider when selecting your theme!

Selling Affiliate Products - What It Takes To Succeed
Hi,
Good day to you my viewer. Today I brought you an educative article on how to make money selling affiliate products online. Read on......
Promoting affiliate products online is one of the best internet business opportunities available due to the low start up cost and high income potential. In fact for anybody looking to get into profit quickly the affiliate opportunity is hard to beat. Like any business, if you are looking for long term security certain measures will need to be taken to insure this type success. On the other hand, for a realistic chance to make a quick profit, a home based affiliate business is the way to go since there is little to do to set it up.
In order to start making money and begin building your home based affiliate business into a source of long term income here are the 3 things you need to have.
Website or Blog
Although you can promote products without a website or blog it is highly recommended to establish your own site nonetheless since it gives you more credibility and flexibility. And speaking of flexibility, the best marketing platform you can choose is a blog since it serves the most uses and is simple to create and operate. Remember you want to build 'long term' income so having your own site will give you the foundation to do just that!
Squeeze Page
One thing that is advisable is to begin building a list from day one. By capturing names on a squeeze page you can develop a relationship with people and promote to them through email. This will increase your marketing effectiveness and decrease your costs and efforts. Nothing will help you grow your home based affiliate business faster than a list of people who have shown an interest in what you promote.
Desire
This is not technical or fancy or even requires any learning on your part, either you want it or not. You will accomplish or succeed at absolutely nothing unless you have the desire to do so. Nobody can give this to you, it must come from within, and only you know whether you have it or not, but it will be needed for you to make the most out of any affiliate opportunity!
One of the best internet business opportunities is selling affiliate products because there is little to do to set yourself up to get started. In fact there are really only 3 things you will want to have in order to start building a business for long term success as we discussed above. Once you are ready to go you can start generating traffic, and this is all it takes to make money with any affiliate opportunity. But remember, it is recommended to have your own site and begin building a list immediately. This and the desire we spoke of, will be what positions you and your home based affiliate business for long term success.

Make Money Online With MySpace - How Do People Do It ?
Hi,
This is another beautiful day that the Lord has made. We are still going to discuss on ways to make money Online with MySpace. Here is another article for you on the subject........
Have you ever wondered why you always get stuck on your desk wallowing in debt and having many bills to pay? The more you think about your problems, the more they seem to increase. The sad thing is that a teenybopper in the same flat as you is minting bucks by using simple tools and brains. It is time you consider diversifying your income sources and look into the powerful tools available to you online for free. More so if you have an Internet connection because very basic Internet skills are needed in this case. The big question is how exactly do people make money online with MySpace nowadays? Is it easy? Is it difficult? Is it worth it? Can somebody do it part time?
The surest way to make money online with MySpace is by doing promotions. The fact that you are reading this is evidence enough that you are either in business or would be interested in doing some big time business. You can gain access to certain products, which you can sell if you are not already selling something. These may be arts, crafts, music, electronics, or foodstuff. The secret is to blend what you are selling with nice content on your MySpace profile. You would hate to get your profile banned because of sending people unwarranted, outright advertising content or promotional emails. What you are selling should be tertiary and not straight on your profile viewer’s faces. If you are a musician, simply put pictures of your tours and add a play list. Once you think it is work enough to get listeners or interested parties, you can put links or ways that people can buy your CDs or download premium content. What you really need here are many friends who can click on your page every now and then. It will not be very successful if you only have a handful of followers.
The other way is to set up a blog account, review a product and earn commissions for that. You can have a whole blog site which does reviews about a specific line of products, be it homecare, consumer electronics or sports. You can also do something about pets if you are a fan and have vast knowledge about them. Once you are up and running and can command traffic to your page, make money online with MySpace by setting up affiliate links or simply get paid for attracting masses who can read your good words about their products.
Why not take a look at how to use social networking sites to you own advantage. Click the link below to see what else you can do.

The Step-By-Step Guide On How To Make Money Online With MySpace
Hi,
Yesterday, I brought you an article on how to make friends and at the same time make money with MySpace. Today, I have another article for you to broaden your understanding. It teaches ' The Step-By-Step Guide On How To Make Money Online With MySpace..........
When the first ideas came up that someone can use a social networking site to make money, some plain rightly disapproved the ideas. Out of those who believed it was possible, a great percentage of them also downplayed it as just another fad. It was a little while later, and to the contrary, that social networking sites were actually becoming a most likely destination for most marketers and upcoming businesses. The mega firms are also making a kill out of them. The good thing is that both the companies and the individuals who make this possible are deriving income out of them, a good example being MySpace. So how exactly do you start in the right direction in case you have decided that you want to make money online with MySpace? The following is a good systematic guide to get you started as soon as possible.
Join an affiliate network and set up your own blog
These networks and programs allow you to advertise a product on behalf of a supplier. You can start a blog program afterwards that is likely to lead people to want to find out more about these products. For example, start on a football pundit’s page if you are marketing sports equipment.
Command Traffic
If you already have your blog running steadily with fresh content throughout, you will get many followers. This will determine the guile with which you make money online with MySpace. The more friends you make, the better. The idea here is to get people to understand that your site exists and to visit it. Use wisdom to do this. You do not want to be flagged for spam. You will need a very good-looking profile that can attract viewers.
Send bulletins and comments
This is where most attention is needed. Just a little blunder and the alarms will come out blazing. Avoid sending your “friends” plain adverts in a message. This is a networking site for people to make friends, so keep sending people messages to check out how they are doing. As much as your secret plan is to make money online with MySpace, stay active and remain a “person.” If all you do is keep sending out promotions and banner like messages about a discount, you will blow your cover. Do not send out bulletins too often. If you do not remain within some limit, you will be flagged for spam. Settle for fewer but more captivating and rich bulletins.
Why not take a look at how to use social networking sites to you own advantage. Click the link below to see what else you can do.

Make Friends And At The Same Make Money Online With MySpace
Hi,
Good day to you. I have a question for you. Do you surf the web for fun? Do you know you can make friends online and make money at the same time using MySpace. Read the following article to learn more........
Until recently, MySpace was known for being a landing site for high school aged teens to meet each other and share gossip. It was first characterized by teenage rock bands, dating searches and the celebrity grapevine. Lately, however, things have taken a major turn and the site which once saw mostly music artists gain popularity and fortunes from the site are now sharing the same stage with entrepreneurs, both big and small. These are mostly in industries ranging from clothing apparel, print media, movies, and photography. Nowadays, you can even do real estate on MySpace. So, as you get clicking and adding friends to your list, see how you can make money online with MySpace. Get the most out of it as you rake in bucks from advertising to a clique of friends.
Starting out may be a pretty modest and low voltage period. However, keep going and encouraging other users to keep checking out your wares. Start a profile on what you do and for the time being, just take advantage of the free advertising. Profiling is a way of getting to know if people like your product and is also for you to read people’s minds as they comment on what they see. Be as open as possible to your friends’ opinions about your wares. They will always give you a dimension that you do not see by yourself. Take care of wet blankets though; these are they kinds of friends with negative opinions about everything you do. Start growing by adding users from outside your locality. Ask other users from diverse cultures to visit your profile.
Get a growing amount of users to visit your site and that way they will start to make orders. That is the point you are trying to reach. You are trying to get to a point where you start to make money online with MySpace being the reference point. If your stuff is that which can be ordered, then go ahead and get fans from outside your continent! Merchandise such as shoes and clothes can be ordered online and posted by a courier at a small premium.
The good thing about venturing to make money online with MySpace is that the followers you have are real people with a direct connection to your business. You have a chance of being heard as well as hearing their say. Everyone will want to be associated with you when you are doing it big. Consult and get new suppliers and markets. Tips and suggestions are always abounding.

Blog Optimization
Search engine optimization is the process done to generate traffic through search engines. It became a need for websites because 80%-90% of visitors come from major search engines. Higher rankings mean greater number of visitors. The same concept applies to blogs. However, many blog owners are not aware of their chances of being more visible on the web. They just update it once in a while and that's it. Considering the great number of blogs on the net today, from personal to corporate blogs, all their efforts will just go to waste if they do not optimize it.
Yes, blogs can be optimized, too. It should be done for the benefit both of your readers and search engine spiders. Although the process is quite similar with the standard website search engine optimization, it is a bit different. Here are some tips that you can do to start:
Consider the Design
It is not advisable to use the default template being offered by blog publishing sites. You wouldn't want to bump into a girl in a party wearing the same dress, do you? Same thing goes to blogs. You can hire a designer to do the work for you. If running a tight budget, you can always look for free templates offered by web design companies and you can customize it a little to make it unique.
Optimize the Tags
Use the most substantial phrase for your blog in the hard code of the title tag. Also, you have to double check that each entry's title appears on the tile tag. This is sometimes overlooked.
Keywords
You should always use your keywords in the blog post titles and categories. You can also use many categories in one entry if appropriate.
RSS Feed
It is best that you have RSS subscription button available on your blog. This would be more convenient to your readers because it will publish your recently updated work. If your blog publisher don't have RSS automatically available, there are RSS feed button creation tool on the net. But make sure that you place it where the readers can easily see them. You can put it in your sidebar. It is already on the blog owner's prerogative if he/she wants to full or partial RSS.
Use Email
Because there are some people who are not familiar with RSS feeds, go the extra mile and offer them something else with the same benefits. I'm talking about You can have your blog post via email. Free tools are also available online to do this.
Compelling Introduction
Introduction about the blog post is sent out via RSS feed. Make sure that it is compelling to enough to make your readers want to have more of it so that they would click the “more” button and read the entire article. Therefore, it should be interesting.
Check you CSS
It is common that blogs come with overwhelming amount of CSS or Cascading Style Sheets. The solution to this is to place it in an external CSS file to avoid clutter in the main template and for the main entry not to go further down.
Keywords-rich Anchor Texts
In placing links in other sites/blogs and even in putting internal links, make sure that you are using keyword-rich anchor text. Remember that it is always better to use your keywords than “click here” or “more”. It would benefit you when search engine spiders crawl your blog.
Keep Your Posts Bonded
If your blog post is somehow connected to your previous posts, link them to each other. The idea is that if your reader is interested in this particular topic, then he/she probably can also be entertained of a different story with the same subject matter. You can use Related Posts Plugin for this.
Do the same in other blogs. If you see a blog entry or an article on the same issue, make them knowledgeable of your existence by placing a link going to your post.
Purchase a Domain
We all know that blog hosting companies will only be around for such a time. Once they close their business, they will be closing your blog as well. If that happens, where will your loyal followers find you? Or there are change in the domain of your blog host, it will surely affect your rankings.
In case you have limited resources and can only settle to free hosting companies, look for those who offer to display your own domain rather than displaying their own like Wordpress and Blogger.
Proper URL Naming Convention
It is always a bad idea to use dynamic URLs whether on websites or blogs. You should always take advantage of any chance you have to use keywords, without keyword stuffing, including this one. Meaning, instead of using “www.xyzblog.com/?246”, you can consider “www.xyzblog.com/blog-post-keywords-here”. When you cannot do anything about it, use mod rewrite.
Good Navigation
If your blog is just a part of a website, it is not ebough that you a have a link going to your blog's main page. Use the sidebar to syndicate your new posts because the visitors of the website might get interested in your articles if they see the titles.
Fast Page Load
The amount of time involved for a page to load all depends on your host. There are some blogs that takes about half a minute just from the snippet of RSS feed to the full article. You can lose a lot of readers just because of this reason alone.
Moderated Trackbacks and Comments
Spammers are everywhere. They always find a way to abuse your blog by putting non-sense comments with links going to their website. It is annoying and it can also affect your rankings. There are numerous tools available online which you can use to moderate and avoid comment and trackbak spam.
Don't just create a blog to share great information or to prove that you know a lot about the field you are into. Do not settle on the number of followers your blog has. Start to optimize now and see the great changes on the next few months.

The Principles Of A Good Web Hosting Provider
2nd September, 2009
Being on the internet and running your business often means that you need a reliable and solid web hosting provider for all of your electronic needs. Worrying about the state and integrity of your business website should be the last thing on your mind as you go about your daily business, and the micro management of such issues should be left to those who provided the web hosting in the first place. There are plenty of web hosting providers for you to choose from, should you decide to launch your commercial enterprise on the internet.
Taking advantage of the cheap virtual real estate to extend the marketability and exposure of your business should be on the minds of every business person out there. It is the point of contact, a representation of your business and an opportunity to take advantage of the business end of e-selling. With these things in mind, you need to look for a reliable web hosting provider and to do so; you need to look out for certain qualities. This article will discuss about these factors, and how you can differentiate from a quality service provider to one that doesn’t have your business in mind. One of the most important features to look out for is a web hosting provider that already has a sort of established reputation and is well known on the online and business community for providing quality and competitive service. They also have to be experts in aspects of web design, not only on the carrier model but as well as the ergonomics of the website – like promoting easy navigation, readability and the ability to direct the online consumer to exactly where they want to go.
They should also be able to cater to your business needs, which mean that their packages should have every permutation in mind, from the small business ventures, to the large corporate demands and to every type of product and service. Customisability is a very important determinant when looking at a web hosting provider, so ensure that their design and construction, as well as their implementation phase is not bound by company bureaucracy nor is it too rigid that your input cannot be inserted whenever necessary. They should also be able to work within your time frames and within a budget that has been specified by you. They should also be experts on the online business platform, which as you know, is an arena that is totally different from offline business needs.
For business needs you need to be able to gather information, which means an un restricted data transfer policy as well as enough bandwidth to hold the necessary information on your business. Look out for things like email hosting and unlimited domains as part of the package and it would be great is the service provider could provide you a dedicated team – not only an art director and web site programmer, but a team of individuals to advise you and give you support when you need it. These are some of the things to look out for when looking for a good web hosting provider and with this advice, you should be able to launch your business to the online community in no time at all.

Guaranteed Extra Cash Online
26th December, 2008
For college students and other people who feel burned out trying to balance paying the bills and living at the same time, ads like these can prove to be irresistible. Many of them make perfect sense and easily hook you based on good concepts. Unfortunately, many times the product or service does not match the brilliance of a great idea for making money from home or through the Internet. As I’ve learned myself, the further you go down this road, the more excited you get. You basically get hooked, and if you aren’t careful, you will end up working hard and falling further into debt than you can imagine. Much like gambling, the lure of easy money and independence can make just about anyone fall prey to work at home scams that feed off your dreams to get to your wallet so they can go on to the next victim.
Hopefully, you will never fall victim to these scam artists. However, the fact of the matter is that these scammers would not be wasting their time if they were not making any money. And as long as people continue to get mixed up in this business, these scammers are going to stick around to trick more and more people.
The best way to keep a scammer’s claws away from your credit card is to do thorough research on each opportunity that you are considering. This means doing much more than simply reading a bit about it online. In my personal experience, I have been taken by companies who were savvy enough to pollute the Internet with staged testimonials, guarantees, questionable references to big name endorsements, and even appearances in the Better Business Bureau.
A colleague of mine who invested in vending machine placement services even went so far as to physically go to the manufacturing plant to tour the warehouse as well as contact the Better Business Bureau of that state. What he received, in return, were twenty malfunctioning candy machines with a list of local businesses who had apparently agreed to receive them. Not only did none of these businesses know what he was talking about, many of them were hostile when he showed up to place them.
What you want to do is check message boards such as the ASK section of Yahoo.com. Another simple method of weeding out the scams from the genuine opportunities is to go to a search engine and simply type in the company name followed by the word “scam”. If you do this, and you are barraged by an endless list of complaints, you my friend have found a nugget of gold in a sea of mud.
In terms of the Better Business Bureau, it is best to contact them directly to ask about any complaints, and also find out how long a company has been listed. The Better Business Bureau operates state by state. They will be able to tell you if they have any complaints on file. If they do, you will want to avoid the opportunity at all costs. But if it appears that a company is doing business the right way, you can continue your own research.
Being in the Business Bureau is not necessarily that hard to accomplish. Many scammers can use their money and connections to set up a front to initially qualify for the Better Business Bureau just long enough for them to collect their cash from unsuspecting victims, close shop, create a new identity and start again.
Before you decide to do anything, attempt to get in touch with the company that you are interested in. Can you get a human being on the phone? Do they have an actually physical address? How long does it take them to respond to your e-mails, if at all? If you cannot even talk to the company before you start, there is not chance that they will be around when you really need them. I once made quite a bit of money selling vacation vouchers on auction sites. The marketing plan was sound, and the money saving vouchers was a hit. Only problem was, I could never get in touch with their customer service department to handle my customer inquiries and complaints once I realized that the promises that existed in writing on the vouchers were misleading at best. This proved to be such a problem that it took me over a year to recover from the negative publicity on my auction site.
Of course, there are legitimate home based businesses out there. With the Internet and all the low cost, web producing tools available, there seems to be a renaissance in entrepreneurship. Basically, just find a product or service you can market online, and do your research. Sell on EBay if you don’t want to build your own website. You can have a website their and all search engine marketing is already done by EBay. The Small Business Association has an office in downtown Tacoma and contains invaluable information on their website http://www.sba.com. Since small business is the backbone of our country economically, sources such as these are eager to help you create a plan with realistic expectations.
However, like anything else worthwhile, you have to do your homework and work hard at it. The problem is that too many people make you think you can practically go online and make money just clicking on a mouse. You want to steer clear of any business that asks to you to pay for their “Top Secret” e-book that will teach you how to make an automated income.”
Think about it, if you are in dire need of cash, can you imagine any other situation in which you would not only work for free, but pay for the privilege to work. There are no magic formals or secrets worth paying for. All of the information in these e-books can be found for free through your own research if you have common internet skills.
If you don’t want to work hard and just make a few easy extra bucks without donating your blood or volunteering to be a guinea pig, it is possible to make some good extra money filling out online surveys or through mystery shopping. There are real opportunities out there which require no fee to get started. Not only that, several of them will even give you a $5 bonus just for signing up. If a company such as this is legitimate, they would be making lots of money through the success of its members. Companies that require that $49.97 start up fee only make money through the fee and only want to teach you how to get other people to do the same. The products are all useless lists and general information that anyone with a functioning mind could figure out on their own, or get for free by doing their own research.
In 12 years of trying to make a living on the Internet, the following are the best companies I have ever encountered for making a few extra bucks filling out surveys, playing games and mystery shopping. They probably won’t pay the rent, but if you’re interested in making an extra $400 or $500 a month or eating out at nice restaurants and going to movies for free, you may want to check these out:
Mystery Shopping Providers Association: ." target=new>http://www.mysteryshop.org/shoppers/">.
This site contains all the information you will ever need on starting up as a mystery shopper. It is also a portal for the best sites to go to for mystery shopping jobs online, and they don’t require that you invest a penny.
InboxDollars.com. (you can sign up for free and get $5 just for signing up. You can make a few hundred dollars in one day, theoretically, if you are willing to use a credit card to sign up for free or paid trials. Just make sure you have the patience to fill out the long surveys and keep detailed records so you can remember to cancel your free trials before you get charged. Also, you can fill out surveys to make a dollar or two which are completely free. I’ve made about $400 with this site.
http://www..sendearnings.com.(almost identical to InboxDollars.com)
http://www.treasuretrooper.com. (a lot of free surveys and cool games).
http://www.tiktikcash.com. By far the best of the survey sites. The free surveys are tremendous. You can make a dollar or two in one minute. This site has the shortest, most painless surveys. I made over thirty bucks in less than after signing up.
I remain,
Yours Sincerely,
Bamidele Abiodun Iyiola

How To Make Email Marketing Work For Your Business
Topic 1 ~ Your Email Subject Lines ~
How To Write A Good E-mail Subject Lines That Works?
Here are the 5 tips:
1. Ask a question. One of the best ways to get a reader's attention is to ask a question. But like a trial lawyer questioning a witness on the stand, make sure it'll get you the response you're looking for. "What's the best way to grow your business?" is a great subject line for business owners. After all, what business owner wouldn't want to grow his or her business? Or let's say you run a health club. An e-mail with the subject line, "How can you lose 5 pounds in one month?" would certainly be compelling. It's important your question be relevant to your audience.
2. Be a tease. A clever subject line can be enticing. When it's done right, reader curiosity is piqued. They want to know more--and they'll open your e-mail. Writing a teaser-style subject line requires some creativity, and your content needs to deliver. A company that sells high-definition TVs could use the subject line, "You're not going to believe your eyes" as a teaser to introduce a new addition to their product line.
3. Tell it like it is. Often, what works best is to say exactly what you want your reader to know. Examples of this straightforward approach are, "Sale on all sweaters this weekend," "Master jazz pianist plays live this Friday" and "The seven secrets of a profitable business." This just-the-facts approach works especially well when you can appeal directly to your audience's interests. It's also the best approach to use when you send a newsletter.
4. Remember "WIIFM". When a person gets your e-mail, the first thing they consider is "what's in it for me?" They have a decision to make. Do they open your e-mail, leave it for later or delete it? If there isn't something about the subject line that lets them know why it's worth their precious time to see what's inside, then the choice will be clear. Keep WIIFM in mind when creating every aspect of your e-mails, including the offer, content, images--and most definitely the subject line. It's all about them. They know that; just make sure you know it, too.
5. Get personal. The more you can make each contact feel you're speaking directly to them, the more effective your communication will be. Whatever style of subject line you use, you can make it personal by using the word "you." Professional copywriters know the secret of using this powerful little word. Just look at the advertisements, mail and e-mail you receive. A few examples are, "Find the right swimsuit for you," "You can save 50 percent on travel," and "You'd look phenomenal in a custom-tailored suit." "You" is ideal, but "your" works too.
6. Not sure which approach is right for you? Try them all, and then show a friend or colleague to get their feedback. Pick the one you believe will be most effective for your audience. Whichever approach you choose, it's always worth spending the time and effort to write a great subject line. Because if your readers don't open your e-mail, they'll never have the chance to read the important message you've created for them inside.
Topic 2 ~ Increase Click-Through Rate (CTR) ~
How to Increased Click-Through Rate (CTR)?
Here are some guidelines:
1. Include a feature, a benefit, and an advantage in the opening. This needs to be used in a subtle way, but in the opening you're really doing a small marketing job for this issue of your email newsletter. Highlight an article or two that are important, explain what you're providing the readers that they won't get elsewhere, and tell them what the benefit will be. A great example is something like "Nokia and Sprint announced second quarter earnings today. Learn what our Wireless Week experts say about the results, and what effect you can expect them to have on the industry at large."
2. Put the email newsletter in the context of your readers' day. This goes hand in hand with the last point. Your readers are busy, and if you can make a compelling case for why they should stop what they are doing and take a few minutes now to read your email newsletter, you'll get them in. We recommend editors reference important events, upcoming trade shows, or other things that say to the reader "You will find it worthwhile to stop and read this email newsletter now, because the information in it will help you stay on top of your business."
3. Keep it fresh. Don't craft a "perfect paragraph" and use it issue after issue after issue. One of the keys to success is to keep the copy fresh and highlight items in that issue of the email newsletter. If you use the same generic language repeatedly, people will stop reading it and it'll be a waste of your time.
4. Keep it short. This is critical. We recommend no more than two to three sentences -- just enough to get them interested and pull them in to read the rest of your email newsletter.
Try it out and see the results! This is just one of the simple things you can do to engage your reader and optimize your CTR.
Topic 3 ~ Killer Email Sales Letter ~
How to Write Killer Email Sales Letter That Get Results?
Here are what we've found works best. Use these tips properly and your results will skyrocket.
1. Your email "from" sender line should be your brand name or company name and stay consistent. Use your own personal name only if that is your brand image.
2. Send emails only when you have something to say that will benefit the reader. No fluff. No filler. You must be relevant. If you can't be, don't send an email until you have something beneficial to say.
3. Start your emails with the specific benefit the reader can get from your message. You have no more than 3 seconds to pass the crucial "what's in it for me?" test.
4. The copywriting tone and language should be personal and conversational, instead of stuffy and "corporate".
5. Make a specific offer to the reader and, if possible, include a short deadline by which he must respond to get it.
6. Use as much copy as is needed to fully pile on all the benefits the reader will get by ordering, answer objections, create urgency, and close the sale.
7. Test your subject lines and offers on small segments of your list before you send the email to your entire list.
8. Include "Email this to a friend" service in all your communications for pass along and viral marketing.
Topic 4 ~ Good Call-to-Action ~
Get More Clicks With a Good Call-to-Action!
The call-to-action is a determining factor of your click-through rate. It is an important component of your email copy because it answers three important questions for the recipient. They are:
1. What you want them to do
2. Why they should do it, and
3. How to take that next step.
Whatever action you want your recipients to take, you can make it happen more often with a good call-to-action. First, decide what you want them to do:
1. Buy something
2. Sign up for a service
3. Fill out a form
4. Read an article or get more information
5. Visit your website or store
6. Make an appointment
Etc…
Then, make sure you incorporate these 6 characteristics to get the results you're looking for. Make your call-to action:
1. Visible - People read, react, make decisions and take action differently. Some make decisions right away ("You had me at hello.") and some need more details ("I'm from Missouri."). Place call-to-action links in the beginning, middle and end of the email so that recipients can click whenever they are ready.
2. Clear - Stick to simple words, short phrases, bulleted benefits and paragraphs of 1-3 short sentences. Include appropriate graphics and cut the clutter by making effective use of white space.
3. Compelling - Use action-oriented verbs and phrases: "buy now," "call today," "save" and so on.
4. Rewarding - Offer an incentive or reward for action. For example, "Act now and also receives...," or "the First 100 respondents will be entered into a raffle to win..." The giveaway, or prize, you choose should be closely related to your product or service. That way, you will be targeting customers who are interested in what you have to offer, not just the latest gadget.
5. Urgent - The longer an email sits in an inbox, the less likely it is to be acted on. Create a sense of urgency to get a more immediate response. Try limiting the offer to a specific time period, to the "first 50 customers," "while supplies last," etc.
6. Direct - Your call-to-action links should go to the appropriate page on your website with more details on the specific product or service you're promoting. If you don't have a website, the call-to-action might be store locations to visit or a number to call for an appointment.
Keep in mind that, in addition to repeating your call-to-action, you can vary your call-to-action to appeal to different types of buyers (and to fit your sales cycle). For example: "Click here to buy now" will naturally work better with loyal customers. The softer, "Click here to learn more" may be better for newer prospects.
Topic 5 ~ Avoid Common Pitfalls ~
Read Your Email Message Backwards to Avoid Common Pitfalls
Here are some common problems to look out for:
1. Misspelled words - It's a good idea to spell-check a document, but it's not enough. A spell checker won't catch every error.
2. Wrong word used - This is why a spell checker isn't enough. A spell checker will only flag words it doesn't recognize. It can't tell if a legitimate word is used incorrectly. Some words commonly confused: accept, except; your, you're; then, than; there, their, they're; cite, site, sight; lay, lie; loose, loosen, lose. Also, look out for a missing "r" in the word "your." It's easy to overlook a sentence such as "Visit our Web site now to receive you free copy."
3. Grammar error - Again, if you know you're not a good writer, have someone else check your writing for grammatical errors. Mistakes make you look bad.
4. Punctuation error - This is another area where you'll benefit from a review by someone who knows their stuff. If you're determined to do it yourself, purchase a good grammar or style book. One of the most common punctuation problems: Too many stupid commas!
5. Vague or confusing statement - Make sure every sentence is crystal-clear. You don't want your promotional message to raise more questions than it answers.
6. Illogical statement - Read over what you have written slowly. At the end of each paragraph, ask yourself: "Did that make sense?" Rewrite so that it does.
Topic 6 ~ Frequency of Sending Emails ~
How Often (Frequency) Should You Send Email?
There's no quick answer to the frequency question. It depends on the goals for your email and the type of content you send. Some rough guidelines:
1. Mail at least once a month. Mail less often than this, and you risk being forgotten by recipients. Monthly is the bare minimum if you want to keep your brand or company name top of mind (a common email goal).
2. Let content be your guide. Look at what you provide readers and you'll get a feel for proper frequency. Analyze how often the information changes and how quickly readers must receive it to act on it.
3. Work within your resources. A daily email requires many more resources than a monthly. Better a well-done monthly email than shoddy weekly or daily. It's recommended to start with a monthly. Once that's going smoothly, they can think about moving to weekly. You need to walk before you can run!
4. Watch for trends. Declining response, open, and click-through rates can be signs of list fatigue. Though some decrease is normal, watch carefully and cut back frequency if you see a problem. Don't assume if the unsubscribe rate is stable you're OK. Many people prefer to forward email directly to their delete folder rather than unsubscribe.
Topic 7 ~ Understanding Spam Filters ~
Understanding Spam Filters to Avoid Your Emails Get Junked!
If you send email campaigns long enough, you will inevitably run into spam filter issues. On average, you can expect 10-20% of your emails to just get lost in cyberspace, mostly due to overzealous spam filters. Unfortunately, there is no quick fix. If you want to avoid getting your emails junked by spam filters, you have to understand how they work.
Generally speaking, spam filters look at a long list of criteria to judge whether or not your email is junk. For example, they might look for spammy phrases like "CLICK HERE!" or "FREE! BUY NOW!". They'll assign points each time they see one of those phrases. Certain criteria get more points than others. Here's a sample of criteria from Spam Assassin, one of the most popular spam filters out there:
• Talks about lots of money (.193 points)
• Describes some sort of breakthrough (.232 points)
• Looks like mortgage pitch (.297 points)
• Contains urgent matter (.288 points)
• Money back guarantee (2.051 points)
• Why Pay More? (1.249 points)
It's easy to use "spammy" keywords in your email without even knowing it. Here are some common ways marketers unwittingly trigger spam filters with their campaigns:
1. Using spammy phrases, like "Click here!" or "Once in a lifetime opportunity!" too many times in your email. Sometimes, you can't avoid phrases like "FREE SHIPPING!" but use them sparingly, and don't do anything else risky.
2. Going crazy with exclamation points!!!!!!
3. USING ALL CAPS, WHICH IS LIKE YELLING IN EMAIL
4. Coloring their fonts bright red, or green
5. Coding sloppy HTML (such as by converting a Microsoft Word file to HTML)
6. Creating an HTML email that's nothing but one big image, with no text (since spam filters can't read images, they assume you're a spammer that's trying to trick 'em)
7. Using the word "Test" in the subject line (agencies run into this all the time, when sending drafts to clients for approval)
Topic 8 ~ Why Email Marketing Does not Work? ~
If Your Email Marketing Does not Work, Think Again Why?
Before you arrive at the faulty conclusion that email marketing doesn't work, let’s look at this from a different perspective for a moment that would make your emails ineffective.
First there's what you are writing in the body of the email. If this is your first attempt to get in touch with a prospect, what are you putting in the email? A dissertation? If it's longer than one or two paragraphs, it's too long. Look at your emails like an initial cold call. You need to laser in and deliver a compelling opening statement that's going to grab their interest and stimulate a conversation. Because there's no one to cut you off in an email or stop you from persistent pontification, people have tendency to ramble on and on in an email, giving the prospect the life story of the product or service they want them to consider. Keep it short and focus on the one or two benefits, opening up the opportunity to have a dialogue. That's it.
Second, are you sending attachments in the first email? No attachments! It's hard enough sending an unsolicited email to a prospect. Now you're adding more barriers and increasing the chances of your email winding up in their spam box or junk email folder. Some people have filters on their email that if an attachment is sent it automatically gets deleted. No attachment until that information in the attachment is solicited by the person.
Third, html or text? Once again, with all the email filters people use today, you will increase your odds by sending a text message only rather than trying to get fancy with formatting, graphics and pictures. The prospect really doesn't care about how beautiful your email looks; they care about the core message. Besides, they will never even get a chance to see your beautiful masterpiece in an html email if it's winding up in the trash.
Finally, you are using way too many spam words. As mentioned, the biggest enemy to email marketing or selling via email is the additional security that companies and individuals have on their network or computer. As such, the specific words you are using in the body of the email can be the culprit who is sending your email directly into the trash or spam box. In other words, you are using words that are often identified is spam and in turn, you email is getting flagged and deleted. Not even eye contact! The prospect is not getting a chance to, at the very least, see your email let alone read it and have a chance to respond accordingly.

How To Start An Online Business
11th March, 2008
This is a rather long post but it will be very beneficial if you can be patient enough to read it all through.
This is by far the biggest one I hear over and over again, day in and day out by newcomers and many advanced marketers.
I know you want to start making money online and I know it’s hard to get started but if you have a step by step formula to follow it is much, much easier and very possible.
As I have already pointed out, one of the biggest stumbling blocks for people who want to start their own, profitable Internet business is a lack of business ideas.
What kind of business can you start? How do you create your own product? How can you resell branded products using a warehouse or drop shipper? Where do you find these products and drop shippers? And how on earth do you find out what to research?
YOU need to know where and what to look for!
VERY BIG TIP!!! A very important point here that many so called guru’s on the net will not tell you. To really make the big incomes we are going to talk about you must have something that can produce HIGH RETURNS for every cent you invest. Otherwise you will not get WEALTHY. You will not become an internet MILLIONAIRE if you just sit back on anything below 35% profit margins.
The last thing you want to do is spend a whole year of your life spending money on a business with zero profit or heaven forbid a loss.
There are a few ways to make money on the net but the two main categories when selecting what to sell;
INFORMATION or PRODUCTS
If you want to market products you can do so by selling someone else’s INFORMATION or their PRODUCT via affiliates that many set up via their own site or through www.clickbank.com for example. Others use wholesalers and reseller sites.
There are many out there who prefer the AFFILIATE route so they don’t have to bother with spending the time and effort to set up their own business or find ideas and niches themselves. WHY? This involves work.
In this case you will need to know how to get traffic and build your lists. If you want to spend less time on your business then this is the best method and it’s fairly easy to make money but you are limited and there may just be a whole lot of other people out there flogging the same horse.
The other way is to have your own INFORMATION or PRODUCT and build your own affiliate network. It’s tougher from the start but once you have that MOMENTUM you will notice the profits become greater and your effort less for more.
Imagine you are in your current job. Let’s say you are a salesperson who has targets to achieve each and every month. It’s tough as your targets are always getting put up just out of reach and unless you work 12 hours a day you have little chance of making target and collecting big bonus checks.
Now, think how much easier it would be if you have a hundred other sales people working for you and giving you qualified leads
They make all the calls, see all the clients and all you have to do is get them to sign your paper work. All for a small commission but only once the client has signed. Wow! That’s a big Wow!
What a great idea. Well, this is just how the affiliate works on the net but you can build them up to be in the thousands. I mean tens of thousands.
AND NO PRODUCT OF YOUR OWN
Many people think that to sell products themselves they need to invent some new way of making a wheel or they put in weeks or months of work to create an e-book that most people would never buy or even read.
INFORMATION or content would be information products which include e-books, DVDs, CDs, manuals, books, blogs, websites, ezines, newsletters etc.
BUT, if you want to make the most profit then having your own information or content or products is a must. Simply reselling another persons content or product is not enough and it has a definite life cycle.
In short, if you really want to sell other peoples products make sure they are closely related to your own and to the subjects of your blogs or newsletters. Otherwise you will not sell a thing and risk losing them as a subscriber. Remember the thought about integrity. Don’t just try to make money.
The most success will come from adding good products in a skillfully written email that makes you sound like their friend and gains their trust but only once you have given them something of value. If you don’t have their trust they will not buy.
A lot of brand new people to this business will have been to many a seminar telling them to simply resell someone else’s product and make millions within a year.
NOT SO MY FRIEND!
“RUBBISH” I hear you say. “I have seen the guys who do this at seminars and the proof of income.” Actually, I have also seen them all. I can name the successful ones on one hand. Yes, they are extremely hard working.
You can fail here very easily because… IT’S TOO EASY FOR OTHERS TO COPY. Once this happens your market is almost dead. You need to be at the top of the tree here.
There are also many sites out there that are offering you FREE websites all setup and ready to go. Got one? Well if you have then thousands of others have too. We will talk about niches in the next section where this will all come clear.
The Internet has huge opportunities to make lots of money in various ways with all types of info products and merchandise, but, like all things these will always need the most effort from YOU.
YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO WORK FOR THIS.
OK, so that covers a bit about Information products and as you have read it is hard work and it takes a lot of research to find that great content. If you choose just to be an also rand and copy all the ideas on the net without thinking about what it is that you are doing to help someone then your struggle will be an uphill one.
Let’s talk about PRODUCTS you can resell.
To make it clear this is what I would call stuff like cars, car parts, TV’s, Video players etc. Companies may include GM, Ford, and Panasonic etc. They all have their own great product that is as they say UNIQUE. Some try to sell them online too. But, the difference being that they are selling their own products. You will never see Panasonic selling a Phillips product in a Sony shop.
There are also many resellers out there that sell other peoples products. Wal-Mart in the US and Tescos in the UK are experts at selling other peoples products. They are true merchants or resellers. They buy at wholesale and sell at retail. The profit is the difference between the two.
Here are some more examples of merchants, ToyRUS, Sears, Kmart, Topshop, Next, Amazon and many, many more.
None of these actually make their own products. Some are branded but they don’t actually make them.
Confused? The thing to remember is that most of what’s being sold is being sold by people like us. Marketers, or in some cases you may call yourself a publisher, and not the actual manufacturer of the product.
In this case you don’t have to sit and think up a product, you don’t have to make a thing. What you can do is use a drop shipper so you don’t even have to store the products or buy them. Just like going to the store to buy something. You don’t pay until you buy.
You can make a lot of money with your own ecommerce store selling merchandise. They can be cheap and simple to set up.
WORD OF WARNING
When it comes to making money from your own ecommerce store, there is a very large threat to your success.
As you know there are a lot of so called genuine wholesalers out there and one of the biggest problems about this strategy to make money is;
WHERE DO I FIND A REAL TRUSTWORTHY WHOLESALER?
I can tell you that there are a few who make a lot of money doing this but a whole lot more who just get burned. And I mean burned.
WHY?
Because they use a wholesaler that they know very little about and one that has no credibility at all. In fact there are a lot of these, so how do you choose the right one.
Well I know a handful that I would trust but one in particular hits the top of the list. I’ll tell you in just a moment.
The people from Amazon, Wal Mart, Buy.com, etc. don’t make mistakes easily, and you can bet they have a great relationship with wholesalers that they trust.
Ultimately gives these guys the time to do what they do best of all MARKETING THE PRODUCTS.
Have you worked it all out yet?
The simple ingredients for starting your own business on the Internet are;
1. You need a large LIST OF PEOPLE who are hungry for your product. Hungry for your niche and ready to pay for your solution
2. You need a PRODUCT to sell whether this is your own or one that has been produced by someone else. This is temptation.
3. You need to CONTACT these people in anyway you can. Using the Internet, including ezines, newsletters, classified ads, etc
4. You need an initial OPT-IN offer to get them to hand over their names and email address.
5. You need BACKEND products to increase your profit margins
6. You also need to IMPROVE somebody’s LIFE
Like me you are always eager to get stuck into the information knowing you are going to learn something. This can lead you to miss out certain points that are very important. It’s a bit like watching a movie. The second and third time you always pick up on little things that make it even better.
You may have picked up on the fact that I am here to stay and I want the internet to start producing better quality products. Especially in the highly profitable area of digital products or information products.
There are two types of people who set up a business on the net.
Those that just want to sell sell sell no matter what the price. This is their number one focus. You know the newsletters you get always trying to get you to buy buy buy. Full of affiliates links. None of which has all that much quality content.
Then there is the type of person who wants to generate great content. They want to HELP solve those problems. They actually care about what they produce. This to me is making someone’s life a little bit better.
See how important it is to know your customers problems and how to solve them.
YOU NEED to think about what it is your customers want. DO NOT ASSUME.
If you want to get rich, wealthy, financially free or how ever you want to state it then you must shift the FOCUS onto your consumer base. You will find that you will have people recommending friends, family and colleagues to you and your products.
Think of the real world of commerce. Think for a minute what would happen to Wal-Mart if they decided to start sell inferior products to all those millions of trusted consumers.
CONTENT IS KING… Heard that one a few times, right? What does it actually mean though? It means that you need to offer great information that is going to help solve peoples problems and keep them coming back for more. This is absolutely essential to your success.
Start writing THE BEST CONTENT on the net for your products.
Try giving it away for free too. You will be surprised what people will buy off you if they think the free content is great.
If you want to stand out from the crowd you simply must have the best content. This is the reason you need to think strongly about what product you are going to sell. If you are not interested at all in watches then ho ware you going to write about them.
You may be the best chef anyone knows. I bet you could get passionate about telling people how to cook a great steak.
You need to keep people who click on your site on your site as long as possible. You will only do this with amazing content. If you do this I promise you this;
YOU WILL BE SUCCESSSFUL
The number one reason that you will fail in this business is that your content is rubbish. Once again, your content will either kill you or make you.
Repeat this 10 times to yourself….
KILLER CONTENT WILL MAKE ME RICH
Killer content can include, e-books, video/DVD, CD’s or audio, newsletters, blogs.
What else can you do to help you become successful?
Well as you have read it takes a combination of all the things you have read about. Hard Work and commitment is very important as too is courage and integrity. If you can answer yes to all these then you are on your way.
However, knowledge is key. You can get knowledge from all sorts of places including the library, internet, newspapers, TV, CD’s, Videos etc etc etc.
The greatest place to get HELP and KNOWLEDGE is from those that share a common passion and interest as you do. They are equally honest and equally committed to great content and serving the consumer.
Where do you find these people? At seminars, on blogs, on the PHONE, in person. Lunch, dinner, breakfast, and virtually anywhere you want. You just have to contact them.
These people are your friends.
These friends will accelerate you to an enormous income and an incredible contact base. (You know how important a trusted list is)
By the way, do not buy lists that are randomly advertised. This is your fast track to getting spammed)
Ok, before I go on about FRIENDS, I need to make sure you understand what your essentials are for starting an internet business;
1. You must have GREAT CONTENT
2. You must have TRAFFIC
4. You must have INCOMING LINKS
4. You will need AFFILIATES
5. You must RESEARCH
6. You must TEST and act on the results
7. You need a list of OPT-Ins to create you LIST of customers
8. TRUST in the market place.
9. KNOWLEDGE about your product and your consumer
10. SURVEY to get to know your consumers
11.BLOGS to create traffic organically
12. SEO for on and off page. Be nice to Google
Yes, that is a big post but I felt it was time you at least new the basics behind an online business and what you need to start and become a success.
Till we meet, I remain

How Do I Get My Business On The Internet
29th Feb, 2008
This is one of the most frequently asked questions by small business owners. They are feeling the pressure from their customers and competitors, yet for many business people it is a daunting task, as they don't understand the whole process.
In fact, many people are even asking the question whether they should have a website. Whether you are a consultant, florist, designer, builder, architect or a doctor, consider the many advantages a website provides:
1. Make money - Set up an on-line store or get paid for advertising from other companies
2. Save money on advertising - Instead of paying for large ads, simply advertise your website
3. Be flexible in your message - Change the content as your business changes. No need to re-print expensive brochures.
4. Exposure to new customers - You will reach more local clients as well as interstate and global markets
5. Having more professional image - Keep up with the times and your competitors
6. Save time - Don’t spend hours on the phone, direct customers to your website
7. Keep your business open 24/7 - Provide customers information when THEY need it. If you don’t, someone else will.
So what does it really take to get your website set up?
Step 1 - Register your domain name OR not.
The big question is whether you need to register a domain name or not. The simple answer is NO, but a better answer is YES it is a good idea.
What is a domain name?
The purpose of a domain name is similar to that of a street address or telephone number. The domain name directs customers to you on the Internet. The domain by itself is not your email or web address. The domain does form the base from which these addresses are derived.
For example: Company Name: QikPhone Domain Name: qikphone.com.au Web Address: www.qikphone.com.au Email Address: sales@qikphone.com
Do I need to register a domain name to have a website?
NO, you don't need to have your own domain name. Your website can be created and hosted without it. Your website address will look something like this: www.web4business.com.au/JBCleaning OR www.ozemail.com.au/~JBCleaning
The only advantage of not registering a domain name is that you will save yourself a few dollars.
The disadvantages of NOT having your domain name include:
1. If you decide to change your Webhosting company or if that company goes out of business, you will lose your website address. Your website can be transferred to a new company, but your address will change. And that means re-printing stationery and re-doing all your advertising, notifying all your customers etc.
2. Website addresses that contain information other than your company name are long and hard to remember and do not appear as professional. Compare these two and see which one you are more likely to remember: www.ozemail.com.au/~JBCleaning OR www.JBCleaning.com.au
So it is a good idea to register a domain name, even if it is just to protect yourself for the future. Say for example, your business name is JB Cleaning and you decide not to register your domain name for now. Along comes Joe Bloggs who opens his own cleaning business and registers JBCleaning.com.au domain name. After a year you decide you want to have your own domain name, but since Joe Bloggs already owns it, you won't be able to register it. Not to mention your customers who know your business as JB Cleaning may visit his website, thinking it's your web address and instead hire Joe Bloggs Cleaning.
Step 2 - Plan your website.
Planning your website is a two part process:
(a) Decide on the website design (colour schemes, buttons, special effects etc). This is your website designer's job. However, you may have a preference for a certain colour or look. To help you choose a design, you may wish to check out other people's websites or work with your web designer's pre-set templates.
(b) The content. There are many items you may wish to include on your website. The most common ones include:
1 Product/Service Details
2. Contact Information
3. Pricing
4. Testimonials
5. Frequently Asked Questions
6. Response Form, such as "Join Mailing List"
7. On-line Magazine or Newsletter
8. Resources & Articles
9. Guarantee
10. Survey
11. Events Calender
12. Search My Website Form
13. Refund Policy
14. Privacy Policy
15. About Us Information
16. Site Map
17. Copyright information
18. Useful Links
19. Media Information
20. On-line store
21. News
22. Directions to Your Bricks & Mortar Premises
Step 3 - Choose a Web Hosting Company.
What is a Web hosting Company?
A webhost is a company that provides server space for your website. You can think of a web host as a commercial building. The web host provides space for your website just as a commercial building provides space for your shop or office. You can build your own building and you can host your own website, but because of the cost and expertise required it is easier to rent the space.
Which Company Should I Choose?
Webhosting companies are not created equal so you need to take a number of things into account when selecting one. A proven track record, experience and reliability form the foundation of any successful business partnership.
Some of the issues you should consider when choosing a webhosting company include:
1. Support - Does it provide comprehensive Technical Support - 24 hours a day, seven days a week?
2. Reliability - Does it have multiple large-scale links to the internet to provide a fail-safe path to your customers from anywhere in the world?
3. Security - Does it have a robust security system that minimises risk of web site intrusion?
4. State-of-the-art - Does the company utilises leading edge technology and is supported by a large-scale uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system.
5. Scalability - Does the product range and services offered allow your business to grow without impediment by making it easy to upgrade and add components to existing product levels.
Step 4 - Getting people to your site.
The marketing of your website is important if you want to draw visitors to your site. If you don't promote your website no-one will ever see it. There are a number of different ways of advertising your website. The best strategy is one, which integrates your existing promotion methods with your website.
1. Office Stationery - Including your web address and email address on your stationery is probably the easiest way to draw attention to your site. It's cost effective and gets your Internet presence out there in the market place.
2. Business Cards - When printing business cards you should include the individual's email address and main address of your website.
3. Radio Advertising - Radio Advertising should include your web address. Don't include the http://, try "Visit us on the internet at w-w-w-dot-qikphone-dot-com-dot-au". If your budget is limited, you may wish to consider community radios.
4. Email and Mail-Outs - Let your current customers know the details of your website. You can either send them an email or a letter/postcard. Keep your website's content up-to-date and they will keep coming back!
5. Print Media - Print advertising should include a generic email address for the company and include your website address. Normally positioned at the bottom right or bottom centre of your advertisement.
6. Search Engines & Directories - People looking for your website who don't know the URL are most likely to use an on-line search engine to look for your organisation or the kind of products and services you offer. There are over 300 major search engines and directories, but you should concentrate on the larger, more commonly used ones. These include: Google, Yahoo, Altavista, Anzwers, Inktomi, Infoseek, Lycos, Excite, HotBot, MSN, Dogpile, AllTheWeb etc.
7. Links from other websites - A good way to attract visitors to your site is through the use of hyperlinks placed on other sites. If you know of another site which has a list of links and you think your website would be a good addition, let the website owner know. You might also offer to provide a link from your site back to the other site. This will encourage the webmaster to include your site. You should also seek out partners for trading links including vendors, suppliers and providers of complimentary products.
8. Link Exchange - Another way to getting a link is through a system called Link Exchange, a free public service designed to help websites advertise each other. With Link Exchange, you agree to display advertising banners for other Link Exchange members and they agree to display banners for you. The System is automatic, you simply add a piece of HTML code to your web page and Link Exchange will display an advertisement for another website. The disadvantage with Link Exchange is that you don't get any control as to where your banner ad appears or the type of banner ads that will appear on your website. It is not possible to guarantee that a competitor of yours may have their banner ad displayed on your site.
9. Paid Banner Advertising/Affiliate Marketing Programs - Various sites give you the opportunity to purchase banner advertising on their site. Some sites will charge you a flat monthly fee while other sites will charge you based on the number of people who see your ad.

Step 5 - Monitor your site's statistics
Your website's statistics should show who visits your website, where in the world they come from, how they are finding your site and what pages are being viewed. Knowing your customers is the first step in effective marketing. Most webhosting companies will provide access to this information free of charge.
Step 6 - Maintaining your website
It is important to update your website regularly to keep your customers interested. One of the great advantages of having a website is that you can change its content virtually overnight at minimal cost (unlike re-printing brochures and flyers).
This is just a brief overview of the process involved in getting your website up and running. In future articles we will cover each step in more detail.
