As we are getting closer to the yuletide season, we need to make alot of resolutions concerning the incoming new year. One of the resolutions we are likely to make is about how we are going to make the new year one of the most fruitful years we've evar spent. One of the ways with which this can be achieved is by trying to improve our earnings in Google Adsense programme.

Ten Ways To Piss Your Readers, Kill Your Blog, And Get Banned From The Internet

Everywhere I look there is blogging advice on how to increase your traffic, pagerank, and readership on the net. There’s syndication, RSS feeds, and any type of social topic you would ever need. However, nobody tells you how to stop the traffic, alienate your fan base; so I thought I should try. 1. Active in blogging? Why not put as many popups on your page as humanly possible? Make it as difficult as possible for a reader to navigate away from your page and ensure that he will never come back! If you are not comfortable with popups, AdSense ads after every post and every type of widget that you can find will do the trick. 2. Too many comments? Turn them off, don’t respond when they are posted, and return fire with fire. People like to feel engaged when they read your content. Don’t let ‘em! 3. Got an RSS feed? Get rid of it, or better yet, find a blog that you absolutely hate and offer it as the feed through your site. It all looks like XML code until you plug it into a reader anyway. Your readers won’t know what hit them. 4. You have a bookmarking widget; Digg, del.icio.us, News Vine, Reddit? Aren’t there equivalent bookmarking tools for adult sites? Couldn’t you use the same graphic and just replace the hyperlink? Hmmm, if you want to get some hate mail, this may be the way to do it. When responding to the hate mail, please refer to item 2 above. 5. Member of MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, Xanga, LinkedIn, MyBloglog and other networks that syndicate your content? This one’s easy, don’t complete your profile, syndicate content that is not yours, be un-genuine, and do not respond to comments. We keep going back to step 2 for some reason. 6. Overload your readers with useless bookmarks. Stop writing content and go hog wild with your Sumble Upon and del.icio.us bookmarking Wordpress widgets. Nobody likes going to a blog that has nothing other than a collection of non-related bookmarks. No content, just bookmarks; nothing slows down traffic like a great link farm. 7. DUMP THE TAGS!!!! Nobody will read your blog if nobody can find it. If you have a search term that inadvertently shows up under a Google search, repeat it in the text as many times as possible. A black-hat trick or two will also work to get you banned from Google. 8. All text and no pictures makes for a very boring and unpleasant blog. Pictures are worth a thousand words, and people love to look at and share video. Why do you think YouTube sold for a billion dollars? If you don’t want traffic, do not use flickr, youtube, or other multi-media sharing service. 9. Whatever you do, do not reference blog posts that you had writer earlier. This would entice readers to go further into your blog and spend more time there. Why would you want that? 10. This one I had to think long and hard about. How do you get blacklisted from as many sites as possible, kicked off search engines and banned from the internet? One word….SPAM!!! TAGS: spam, banned, rss, ugly, kicked off, no readers, bad blog, bookmark widgets, digg, anti-comments, popups, tricks, reference, readers, ugly blog, mybloglog, wordpress, blogger, stumble upon .

Get Started - Don't Wait For The Perfect Time

Life is a matter of choices, and every choice you make makes you. One of these choices that you need to make at every point in time is ''GETTING STARTED''.
One of the hardest choices to make in life is getting started when trying to carry out an endeavour in life. We always end to wait for the perfect time which never comes.
When we procastinate in getting started,we'll never arrive at our DESTINY. I strongly believe that ''Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.'' The choices we make today will definitely determine where we'll be tomorrow.
When it comes to ONLINE BUSINESS, the time to get started is now. Don't wait till you have access to all informations needed. Whatever information or idea you have, run with it. Do something now because the perfect time will never come. You don't have to wait till you have your own Computer, Website or other peripherals. All it takes to get started is you having the right attitude towards your GOAL and being able to take action at the right time which is NOW.
Getting started is a challengethat is not to be approached with mere interest. What is needed is PASSION and TOTAL COMMITMENT towards your GOAL. It is this that makes the difference.
Getting started is not going to be an easy task because there will definitely be obstacles along the line, but one need to persevere and stop only when the task is been done.
In every triumph there is a lot of try. But perseverance means more than trying or working hard. It is a willingness to bind oneself EMOTIONALLY, INTELLECTUALLY, PHYSICALLY and SPIRITUALLY to an idea or task until it has been completed.
So, it takes more than having the interest in ONLINE BUSINESS. One needs to and must be PASSIONATE about it and that's what brings ecxellence at the end of the day.
For one to be able to persevere, one must cultivate the habit of never giving up because ''quitters don't win''. Thomas Edison once said - ''Many of lifes failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up''.
To be a success in ONLINE BUSINESS, one must have the conviction and not belief to be successful. A belief is something you argue about but a conviction is something you'll die for. That is purpose and when one is pirposeful in ones' approach to life, success is definitely the ultimate GOAL to be achieved.

Anyway, I'm sorry for digressing a little bit. It's just that I can't do without mentioning why I've been unable to give you more articles to read.
Let's now go straight to the point by discussing how to find hot niche markets.Working out what your niche market will be to start your home business is something that can elicit much excitement. This is when you can put all those great ideas you have had for your business into a plan of action. Give yourself a number of options to work over. Some will be great and some won't fit. Get more than one so you always have a back up when you start a home business. Look to 3 sources for ideas: * A hobby you love: You won't find many hobbies from which you can't build a business. And since you enjoy doing it, it won't be tedious to "go to work" every day. When you pick something for your business that you sincerely like, you will have fun at doing it. * Your experiences: In life we go though many experiences and you can use these to build a business. For example if you have raised children you can then put all your parenting experience together and start a business related to parenting. * Your talents: Everyone has one or more talents within them. Dig down and see what yours are. You can start a freelance business using your talents. Defining your niche market: 1. List out some ideas then put them in the order of what you like the best. 2. Go to the site listed here and put a key word into the overture suggestion tool box: This will bring up the amount of searches that have been done for your keyword and will represent demand. 3. If you search out that same key word on Google search engine http://google.com/ then you will see websites supplying that item and you will know how many competitors are out there that will be competing with you when you start a home business. 4. If you find a topic that is demanded in quantity but low in the suppliers, you will then make money. This should be your special market for which you do your niche marketing. You will make more money with a niche market as you will reduce and sometimes even eliminate competition. Go through your list of ideas until you narrow it down to about 5. Then go through them again and see which one will fit into a niche market. Establishing your USP: Once you have found the concept that fits into a specialized or niche market it is time to establish your USP, Unique, Selling, Point. This is when you will take your idea, and see how you will make your business uniquely different from your competitors. Often neglected, finding the USP is something that new business owners need to do to set their item above the competition. Online businesses are very competitive and you have to stay ahead of the game. There are two reasons you need to set yourself up as different from others: 1. Get ahead of your competitors 2. To clearly define to your potential customers why your product and service is better than your competitors. Deciding on your business model: Part of your business concept will not only be consolidating your ideas but also choosing your business model. There are a few that you can choose from: * Affiliate marketing-Getting involved with affiliate programs will target your efforts * Network marketing (MLM)- again this will target your market and idea. * Marketing-taking the product and selling it * Service- you should use your talents, which includes freelancing.
